What is Krewe de Camp?

Krewe de Camp is an overnight camp for children and adults with cerebral palsy or other developmental disabilities.  Each camper is paired with one or two high school volunteers who assist with the camper's day-to-day activities.

Where is Camp?

Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville, LA

When is Camp?

*Tentative*  June 3rd – June 11th, 2011

What should campers and volunteers expect?

Krewe de Camp offers a traditional camp experience, including arts-and-crafts, outdoor games, and swimming.  Campers and attendants participate in fun night activities, such
as a costume dance, a talent show, an outdoor fair and live music concerts.

This is an excellent opportunity for high school students to fulfill their service hour requirements in a fun-loving atmosphere.  Please note that all high school volunteers
are aided by adults with several years of camp service.
